Cookie Books for the Classroom
Kids love cookies, so why not engage them with cookie books! I didn’t include gingerbread man books because I have a separate post about them here.
The Duckling Gets a Cookie
The Duckling Gets a Cookie is a Mo Willems book and part of the Pigeon series. Your class will roll over laughing with this and all the books in this series. This book is great for modeling expression when reading.
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff is a classic circle story. It is a great book to read when teaching sequencing. This book is always a favorite with my kinders.
