St. Patrick’s Day Math and Literacy Activities
We are going to be in full St. Patrick’s Day mode next week during our math and literacy time! I absolutely love this time of year. We are always on spring break during the week of St. Patrick’s Day, so we celebrate the week before. Here is what we have on tap for next week.
First up literacy centers! I use a modified Daily 5 system to run my reading block time. During the work on words block, students choose a literacy center to work at. I always try to put activities in that review a concept we have already learned.

There is a mixture of activities that should keep my kids busy. As far as math goes, there will be review activities and games for them to play. I like to find game markers (table scatter) related to the holiday. I found some cute shamrocks a few years ago that my students love to use as markers.
