Time for a Cookie Party!

Welcome to day 1 of the 12 days of giving! If you have been following my blog, you may know that I offer 12 days of freebies each December. The theme for 2021 is cookies. It’s time to start this celebration with a cookie party!

This post may contain affiliate links, which means if you click on one of the product links and make a purchase, I’ll receive a small commission. This helps me to build my collection of books so I can share ideas with you.  You will never infer a fee or charge for this.

The first freebie this year is a classroom management incentive for earning a cookie party.  Each day or whenever you feel it is necessary set a goal with your class. Write your goal on the goal sheet to display.

When your class reaches their goal, they earn a cookie letter. When put together, the letters spell ‘cookie party.’ Once your class has collected all the letters, throw a cookie party for your class!

Or, collect this year’s cookie freebies over the next twelve days and have a cookie immersion day! If you would rather have a popcorn party, be sure to check out a similar freebie for a popcorn party here.

Tip: If you have a magnetic whiteboard, put magnetic tape on the back of each cookie letter. This makes it easy to hang them on a magnetic board and move them around if necessary.
