After reading the story There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow, we list the events of what the old lady ate on a piece of chart paper. After we have done this as a group, I give them a retell paper for them to do on their own.

Students cut out the items that the old lady eats. Next, they use a glue sponge to glue them into the correct order on their paper.
