It’s spring, which means opening day of baseball is just around the corner. It is one of my favorite times of the year, baseball season. I love watching my son play baseball, attending local minor league baseball games, and going to major league games. Baseball is very popular in my classroom. Baseball Books

There are some great baseball books that I keep on our bookshelf this time of year.

Since I have students who either play or watch baseball, I encourage them to write about their experiences. We have a baseball word list that inspires their writing.
