One of my favorite things to do with my students is to show them simple ways to spread kindness. One of those ways is to make hot chocolate kindness packs.

Hot Chocolate Kindness Packs

The hot chocolate packs are easy to make, but I have my students in charge of making them. During center time, one of the stations is an assembly line.

Each kit contains the following supplies:

sandwich-sized plastic bag
1 hot chocolate packet
1 candy cane
10 marshmallows (great for kinders to count out!)
1 hot chocolate kindness bag topper

Students love having the chance to be part of the production. I even provide them with food-handling gloves because they are touching marshmallows. If you teach littles, you know where those fingers have been!

After we have made the hot chocolate kindness packs, we deliver them to staff around the school. Each student also gets to take one pack home to give away to someone else.
