Candy Cane Five Senses

I am continuing with the candy cane theme today.  Today’s freebie is a candy cane five senses poem.  First, give each student a candy cane.  Have them use their five senses to describe their candy cane.  They record their observations on the recording sheet.

After they have filled out their five senses organizer, they are ready to write their poem!  My students had so much fun with this.  After they wrote their poem, they took turns reading them to the class.
