Number Order Math Fall Leaves Freebie

It is usually late October or early November when the leaves begin to fall where we live. Since we start our fall-themed activities before that, I rely on fake leaves from craft stores to use in our classroom centers. Using fake leaves for a number order math activity is a fun way to reinforce number sense.

First, you will need to gather fake leaves. I get mine at a local craft store, but you can also find leaves on Amazon.

Next, you will need to use a sharpie to write numbers on your leaves from 1-10 or 1-20, depending on where your students are with learning number order.

Once you have your leaves labeled, put them in a container. Students take the leaves from the container and put them in the correct order.

Finally, students write their numbers on a recording sheet. I have made two options for a recording sheet, one includes numbers for students to trace. The second option is blank, students will need to write the numbers on their own.
