Fall Resources for the Classroom

Fall is almost here, and even though it doesn’t feel like fall where I live, I still like to pretend it does.  It is time to pull out my fall books and resources. Here is a round-up of our favorite fall resources we use in our classroom.

Fall Books

Those are just a few of the theme books I pull out for my students to enjoy.

You can read more about activities that go with Fletcher and the Falling Leaves here.

Fall Math

I also pull out my fall math centers for 1st grade.  These are perfect for this time of year.

When it comes to nonstandard measuring, I love to have my students collect acorns to use as their measuring tool.  They always love it!

For my fast finishers, I always like to have some no-prep math pages ready to go. Our fall Cut, Do, and Glue math worksheets are great for fast finishers.

Fall Writing

My students are getting into the groove of their work on writing time, so I like to pull out the autumn word lists.  This list always generates some great ideas and fun stories.

And don’t forget about this Fall Is freebie.

Those are some of our classroom favorites.  As far as fall home favorite, well I am a sucker for anything pumpkin!
